What is your disobedience costing you? The Word says "Keep (obey) my commandments for they are not burdensome." Let's take Jesus the ultimate example of complete obedience. What if He was disobedient? Where would that have left you and me? We would not inherit the kingdom of God. Most of us are not Jewish and cannot trace our lineage back to Jacob (Israel), but because Christ died for all of us we were adopted into the lineage through Him and that is the tribe of Judah! The royal tribe! If He had decided to be disobedient, which He had a choice to be, and not did do what God asked Him to do we would be on a crooked road straight to Hades, Sheol: Hell. How many of us would be in a place of abundance if it had not been for our disobedience? The convenant has been made, through blood (<---the law) of Jesus Christ, and can only be broken if you are disobedient. God did His part; it's done already, you are the only one that can break that convenant. But the great thing about Jesus Christ is we can repent and get right back underneathe the covenant or it is everlasting. We wonder, quote scriptures, and ask "Lord why has thou forsaken me?" But He hasn't and He never will! The Word says "I will never leave you nor forsake you!" What we need to do is stop and say "Why aren't my prayers affective?" Because the Word works, by convenantial law it has too! When were you disobedient to what the Lord asked you to do? Check yourself. Trials and test come to see who are righteous and who are obedient to His Word. The storm is always right before your overflow comes. A mother suffers almost unbarriable pain minutes and sometimes hours before her child is born; but when that little creation from God appears the woman almost instantly forgets the pain and unspeakable joy comes upon her! Their physical bodies are still in somewhat pain but "the joy of the Lord is your strength" and the women is so happy that the pain is unoticable: strength! But obedience is essential for having your prayers answered. "The prayers of the RIGHTEOUS availeth much." Jesus said "Ask anything in My name and you shall have it!" But if the covenant is temporarily broken, by you, through disobedience, then you cannot tap into your promises until you repent and get back in line with Christ. Your disobedience might have gotten you out that job that you have been praying for, that house you just had to have, or that door that you needed to be opened sooo badly! Now some things do not happen at the time you want them because of our Father who is protecting us from more harm that it would do than good. But most of time our disobedience keeps us out of the will of God and we can't access the promises that He has given us until we stop being disobedient and repent and line our will up with His! Just think, Jesus' obedience made Him the King of all Kings and the most powerful name ever! I mean demons are freaking scared of just His name! What is your disobedience keeping you out of? How great are you suppose to be? Will you ever know? There is only one way to find out!!!Read Deuteronomy 4:1-14.....

Disobedience hurts doesn't it? When we are not obeying the Lord, what he has to do to get us back on track isn't always good. But he knows our heart, and he knows the thoughts of the righteous and the unrighteous. I know sometimes I have had spiritual spankings from the Lord and wished I had been faithful instead. Yes Miss Cassidy this is a good word. You are very wise for your young years and it is always a blessing to be with you and around you. God's hand is definitely on you, Praise God! Keep on blessing us!0 pointskarli wrote 978 Days Ago (neutral) 0WHEWWWWWW! GIRL!!!!! You are stepping on my toes but this is awesome and so true!!!! We are our own worst enemy for not obeying GOD!!!! Girl let God use you mam!!!0 pointsGodisluv25 wrote 978 Days Ago (neutral) 0So true a lot of people go through life not even realizing that they are being disobedient to God, When you are disobedient that mean you are working for the enemy(Satan). God do not ask us for much, nor do he make us do anything he gives us a choice which is Life or Death what side are you living on! God has done so much for us , who would give there only son to die and go through so much pain for us, so why can't we give our lives and surrender our all to him.0 pointsCentral_Jaguar wrote 978 Days Ago (neutral) 0Thank you Ms. Cassidy. That was very powerful and needed. I can truly see what my disobedience has cost me, but thank God for Jesus. Thank God that he allows repentance. Thank God for sisters and brothers in Christ like you, who keeps us in your thoughts and prayers. I humbly thank you and continue to pray for us.0 points
