Do I detect a little bit of road rage? I know how you feel...I have a serious lead foot and it seems like when I am in a hurry, others are not!

I admit I am one of the 'speedier' drivers on the road. I've never understood the philosophy of "I'll slow down other drivers". There is way too much road rage on the roads today and all too often it results in a physical altercation of some type. You never know who's driving next to you and whether or not they have a concealed weapon in their vehicle. With that in mind, I do try to take into consideration what another driver may be going through, or all to often...doing, while they are behind the wheel. Besides driving fast, I do have a passion and it's one I do act on whenever the need arises. I will put myself between a motorcycle and other drivers. Too many people don't understand the space needed for motorcycle safety. I'll be the platinum gray streak flying by riding behind the motorcycles.

It is not ok, but that doesn't stop others from only thinking of themselves. I identify with you totally. The best advice as usual, take care of you because that is all you can do. When I am the slow person and see folks coming up behind me in the fast lane, I move over as a matter of courtesy and doing what is right. Do unto others is a philosophy I live by. I've heard folks who think its up to them to slow the speeder down. Many have said, "well I'm doing the speed limit, they are the ones breaking the law". But we don't know what is going on with that person in the fast car and who are we to judge?

This is funny. Have you noticed that when you are in a hurry; you catch every red light, or the cashier has issues with her register, or someone ahead of you in a store has a basket full of food, enough to feed an army. I use to live my life in the fast lane. I have learned to use reverse psychology by pretending I am not in a rush. It might not make things go faster but it keeps my spirit at peace. Good Luck.
