The soil is designed to grow whatever seed you plant into it. If the soil is rich, then you will get an abundant harvest. But if the soil is not ready for the seed you plant into it, then the ground will choke the seed and it will not produce. The soil must be cultivated and it must be cared for in order to get the desired harvest. The life of a believer is pretty much like the soil...each day we must use the right fertilizer to help the soil of our spirits to grow. Once the soil has been cultivated and we ask for forgiveness, repent and return to the Father, our spirits are ready to receive the Word God has for us. The seed may be planted by a friend, a sibling, a parent, a preacher or passerby...and then another will come along and water the seed planted within us with an encouraging Word and direction. And as our daily prayer life continues to develop, the seed grows within us and God adds the increase to bring forth the harvest. And the wonderful thing about rich soil...it replenishes itself if you keep the ground fertilized and watered! Is it harvest time yet? Is your soil ready? Or do you need to break up the fallow ground in order to make it ready.....
