Watch and be on the alert for people who will try to take advantage of you. They will be motivated by selfishness and a sense of desperation without regard for your rights, space or boundaries. You must stand your ground and not be afraid to say NO; not just from a position on self-preservation, but because your real need is to stay in the flow of My Spirit and to respond only to My leading says the Lord. Obedience is the key. Be strong and resolute. Isaiah 30:21 Your ears shall hear a word behind you saying, "This is the way, walk in it," whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left.

To me, this word was so profound today. We should all beware of users and those who will take advantage of you, play on your sympathy and do so without regard to your situation. These people may either think you are weak, unlearned, untaught, ignorant of God's Word or devoid of your own personal relationship with God and unable to hear from Him when you hear His voice! Woe to them who attempt to take advantage of God's chosen vessels. We don't all have the same task or assignment apart from witnessing and winning souls for Christ. But that does NOT mean that we don't know when we are being attacked and it does not mean that God will not step in and protect us when He sees that danger is near. God always has a way to let you know when you need to move forward or step back in any situation and the Holy Spirit that resides in you will bear witness! Do not allow others to cause you to doubt yourself or God based on their opinions. Also do not allow yourself to be deceived. Seek God's Word, your basic instructions before leaving earth, to get all the answers you need. In the meantime, remain steadfast and unmoveable...always abounding in the work of the Lord!
