I was saddened when I watched the video of the young male being beaten to death, it was so brutal. It disturbed me that the person recording with their phone was more interested in recording it than calling the police. It was even sadder to see a group of young ladies struggle to carry his body to safety and no males offered help. What is happening with our African American youth? How many innocent bright children will be slain before we step in and really work to change things. My heart goes out to to Derroin Alberts' family and friends.

I do feel the person that recorded the incident should feel just as guilty for not assisting in helping save Derroin's life as the people that committed the crime. I personally would not have been thinking to record but to call for immediate help.Its ashame how people think when it doesnt affect them.
