Like a marathon runner or any professional athlete, GRACE Project Team members have to push, test their strenghth and most of all never give up. Being involved in a project requires staying power. Of the many projects I have lead or played a critical role in, nothing was ever easy, everything was a challenge and the outcome was always rewarding. No matter how well thought out or planned, a project usually entails a new task, inventive thinking and patience to test out new ideas and work them through. The outcome is especially rewarding when working with other professionals who keep a cool head and their eye on the end result. Working on a team project lets you see into the real character of the people around you --- who gives up, who blows a fuse and who reamins focused and calm. When the cork on the champagne bottle is corked at the end of a project I feel such an accomplishment. I feel sorry for the ones who stepped down and missed that moment. That moment rewards you the rare opportunity to see yourself in a mirror, the strong you, the winning you. Like breaking the tape at the end of a marathon, you can say I DID IT. And nobody can take THAT away from you. GO GRACE RESOURCE TEAM! AND a special shout out to BEAUMONT's ROCKIN' RESOURCES. I am proud of you!
