President Obama Makes First Appearance at the U.N.
The President made his first appearance this morning at the United Nations. His speech outlined four pillars of U.S. international policy -- nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation, the pursuit of peace, combating climate change, and increasing economic development and opportunity -- and directly addressed long-standing issues such as the Middle East conflict, as well as more recent challenges including the global economic recession. Let us hold our President up in prayer.

I had the opportunity to attend Model United Nations in college and it was a great experience. We got to meet real representatives from all the actual nations and go to the actual meeting room in New York. It really opened my eyes to how people see the US. Now I bet a lot of the countries are reeling from there being a black president. I love it :) I'm excited about hearing the speech and the comments made on it! You are right lets continue to hold him up in prayer!!!!0 points
