How, What and Why?

Jesus said to him, I am the Way, the Truth and the Life,

no one can come to the Father except through Me.

John 14:6

Jesus told us that He was the Way, the Truth and the Life…in our efforts to understand this life we live, we must come to the realization that JESUS is the answer to our questions about the Hows, Whats, and Whys of Life….

This is what was revealed to me and I pray that it will bless you and give you something to think about as you take this journey called life!

How – “The Way” – (Hŏdŏs - This is our access) – We often wonder “how” we live this Christian life in this carnal world or “how” we eliminate the things that we don’t want to do that keep us from being all we can be in Christ Jesus.  The “how” of life is answered in finding “The Way” – the LORD Jesus Christ.  When we receive Jesus, the Holy Spirit comes alive in us and He will show us the way or the “how” to live according to the principles of God’s Holy Word.  We only have but to yield to the unctions (or promptings) of the Holy Spirit!  “The Way” – Jesus – answers the “hows” of Life.

What – “The Truth” – (Alēthĕia - absolute [force]; fulfillment of God’s Word) – Many times we struggle with the “whats” of life…what is my purpose, what should I do next…What?   Well, the “what” of life is found in knowing and practicing truth – “The Truth” found in Christ Jesus!  The truth of knowing and understanding God’s Holy Word.  The “whats’ of life lie in walking in the truth of God’s Word and knowing that Jesus Christ is “The Truth!”  His life provides the truths for the “whats” of life!   Jesus is the fulfillment of the truths of God’s Word!

Why – “The Life” – (Zōē - life in the absolute sense) – Our struggles with the “whys” of this earthly existence can also be found in Jesus Christ – “The Life.”  Jesus gave His life as the assurance that we may live…live life abundantly…and find life eternally in the presence of God Almighty.  Jesus – “The Life” is the answer to your “whys” of life.  He died to give us this assurance of eternal life and our very existence is based upon the fact that Jesus didn’t stay in the grave, He is alive and well, TODAY!

The “Hows,” “Whats,” and “Whys” of life can all be found in the Lord Jesus Christ for He is “The Way,” “The Truth,” and “The Life!”

If you need direction – Jesus is “The Way!”

If you need purpose – Jesus is “The Truth!”

If you need assurance – Jesus is “The Life!”

In Jesus, we can find the answer to every situation, circumstance, or problem that we face in this earthly existence for surely....

Jesus is still even today, “The Way, The Truth, and The Life!"
