As a child of God, we have the right to so many blessings and so many promises. One of those rights and privilieges we have is the protection of God. As long as we are seeking His face...even sometimes when we are not, God protects who and what belongs to Him. In Psalm 91, He clearly states that those who abide in the secret place of the Most High will find refuge in the sahdow of the Almighty God! How very awesome is that that He loves us that much to protect us even in His shadow. This speaks to how magnificent our God really is that His shadow is protecing us. If we stop to think about it, how many of us who have children will do just about anything to protect and provide for our little ones? I know that I will. Even when they mess up and do wrong, we still take care of them and do not turn them over to the wolves or throw them away. God is just like that with us. Just as we have a system in place for our children to discipline them when they are wrong, so does God. But we do not lose the safety of His protection if we are living for Him and loving Him the way that we should. His protection is more than enough and always there for us is we just walk in it.
