Guys, I have to share...I have three wonderful children. Each of them are a wonderous blessing from God. They each have their own gifts and talents and each are special in their own way. But right now, my oldest son is on the brink of walking into his calling from God. My son has an awesome call on his life to minister to youth. He sees things that most children his age cannot. He hears from God on a level that most children don't care to. And he is allowing God to use him to expose the enemy and the set up the enemy has through the music our young kids listen to these days. There is a man by the name of G. Craige Lewis who has Ex-Ministries. He sends out a daily word Monday through Friday and has a message about the truth behind hip hop. My son has studied the teaching series on this and is ready to teach his peers what God has revealed to him concerning this destruction behind listening to this kind of music. People say it doesn't matter what you listen to, but it really does. If a child were actually honest with you, he or she could tell you what this music makes them think about and how it makes them feel. My 17 year old son has never really liked rap/hip hop music until recently and only if there is a message in the music. He writes his own lyrics and analyzes every one of them to make sure he won't lead anybody astray. I say this is an awesome thing for him to walk in at his age in a day and time where children have absolutely no concern for anyone other than themselves. This is a gift from God and I am praying for my son every step of the way. I will support him in his quest to expose the enemy and keep his name before the throne of God in prayer because he will need it. I praise God for trusting me enough to bless me with a child with such an awesome task and calling. I pray that I will continue to be able to train him in the areas that still need work and enhance the areas where he is strong so he can grow stronger. God is an awesome God and I will forever love and serve Him!!!!!!!!!!!
