SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT.... We often hear people say (or we may even say it) "God knows my heart!" Just what do we really mean when we say that? Indeed God does know our hearts and this is what He has to say about the heart of man in Jeremiah 17:9-10 (The Message Bible) - "The heart is hopelessly dark and deceitful, a puzzle that no one can figure out. But I, God, search the heart and examine the mind. I get to the heart of the human. I get to the root of things. I treat them as they really are, not as they pretend to be." So the next time we are tempted to say ,"God knows my heart," let's think about it and remember that HE REALLY DOES KNOW OUR HEARTS! Therefore our prayer or heartcry should be: Psalm 139:23-24 (New Living) - "Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life." HMMMM???
